SkinMatrix® is specifically developed to take care of the skin from within. This product contains unique ingredients and antioxidants that protect skin from early ageing, through the influence of free radicals and sunlight, for example. But there is more. Our skin is continuously replaced by new skin cells, particularly in the upper layer, the epidermis. When that layer gets thinner, there is less protection for the layer underneath, the dermis. This is where the collagen fibres are located. That is why it is important to keep both layers in an optimal condition. In addition to the protective antioxidants that have to neutralize the harmful influences of UV rays, pollution and other aggressive substances a lot of attention has been given to the stimulation of collagen production. Vitamin C is essential at this stage, together with the so-called collagen peptides from fish. These are very small collagen particles, peptides, which are identical to our own collagen. Owing to this, the absorption is perfect, as a result of which collagen rejuvenation can proceed effectively. It also contains Cartidea®, well-known for improving skin volume. This effectively binds water in the skin, slowing down wrinkle formation.
